Clarksville is only a 15-20 minute walk to the festivals so you can skip the parking. Look for the famous Clarksville tower landmark (end of this clip) to guide you home after a great day of music!
The Lake Austin hike and bike trail is easily accessible via a short walk or scooter ride from the Cottage. It's a beautiful walk year round and offers yet another way to get to central downtown.

We love to share our cottage in Clarksville because it really represents the best of Austin, old and new. It seems too good to be true: a historic pedestrian friendly neighborhood with its own top-notch cafes and restaurants (Jeffreys, Josephine House, Taco Flats, Galaxy Cafe, and more), neighborhood grocer (Fresh Plus), gourmet coffee roaster (Medici), all while still being a short distance to central downtown, the west 6th bar scene, and the lake hike and bike trails and parks.
The rented space includes 2-units in a privately accessed second floor, each unit having its own entrance and full bath, connected by a private garden courtyard - this makes it perfect for families, couples traveling together, or a group who want to be close while enjoying their own space.
Both suites have their own dedicated coffeemakers, tea kettles, mini-fridges, and microwaves, as well as shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. All linens and towels are provided. Each unit has its own individually controlled heating and air conditioning as well.
